Meet Giulio The Truffle Hunter from Florence in Italy, performing his Truffle Hunter Show at The Great British Truffle Festival November 22nd.

Giulio is a well known Italian truffle hunter, leading tartufo experiences, a host and guide. He is also a performing artist, with his six man band; presenting his show all over Italy.

In 2004 he decided to focus his bed and breakfast into a truffle guest house, one of the first to offer this experience.. His passion, love and culture for truffles attracted many luxury hotels in Florence, such as the Four Seasons, The Helvetia Bristol, The St Regis and The Salviatino which began promoting his experiences.

It was the Hotel Savoy in Florence that gave Giulio the most satisfaction, first creating a truffle experience by calling it "In a day of the life of Giulio the truffle hunter."

The success and the five star reviews from important clients such as the Hollywood actress Zoe Saldana or the Director James Gunn. Mrs Natalie Rucellai the head marketing of the Rocco Forte group named him as their first truffle concierge in the world, this news generated articles in magazines such as Forbes USA, Matador, Vogue and Elle.

Last year his truffle experience was included by chef Fulvio Puerangelini in his tuscany culinary trip with important English clients of the Rocco Forte Collection.

In 2018, Guilio evolved his truffle experience into a musical show, first creating 15 truffle songs and then assembling a band. The Singing Bears band of expert musicians who wrote all the music for his songs.

His musical truffle show has been presented for the last three years at the Hotel Savoy in Florence in November during an event called Tartufo Night.

Today his truffle show is booked in other luxury hotels or luxury villas as in Villa Nozzole-Folonari wine estates or Torre a Cona of the nobles Conte Niccolo' Rossi di Montelera.
